Back To School
Today is Ben's first day of his second year apprenticeship. He is in Red Deer attending Red Deer College and staying with a family friend. This is the second time that Ben has attended as he did his first apprenticeship year last October. While he is away at school, Nick and I are left in the house (as well as Jack). So suppers are smaller and there are not as many dishes to be done (Thank goodness). Even though there are a few advantages to having one less person in the house, there are disadvantages too. First disadvantage is that I am now sleeping in our bed alone (well with Jack), I am now the sole bread winner of the family for the next 8 weeks, and most importantly my husband is now 3 hours away and can only be reached over the phone (no more hugs). But despite my whining I am glad that he will have one more year under his belt and acquired more knowledge in his career field.

Hopefully the eight weeks will go by really fast. Just remember that this is a temporary thing and that might help....that's what I try and do.
